SOIL
Soil is the fourth in the series marking the Land.
The installation was held in an old machinery shed in the agricultural college in Ballyhaise County Cavan. Six tons of soil was gathered from every county in Ireland. 4,500 miles travelled, 160 sack of soil dug, 5 packs per county, endless telephone calls made.
The work also consisted of a video and sound piece.
